Azerbaijan: OPEC+ states to meet Apr 6 in video conference format
BAKU/DOHA, Apr 3 (PRIME) -- The OPEC+ meeting devoted to stabilization of oil prices will be held on April 6 in a format of a video conference, Zamina Aliyeva, an adviser to the Azerbaijani energy minister, told PRIME on Friday.
“The OPEC+ meeting will be held April 6 in a video conference format. Azerbaijan has received an invitation. The meeting is expected to bring together the ministers of the alliance countries and discussions of the new “Declaration on Cooperation,” Aliyeva said.
On Thursday, Saudi Arabia called on oil producing countries to have an urgent meeting.
Kuwait’s Minister of Oil Khaled Al Fadhel said Kuwait supports the initiative of Saudi Arabia to convene a meeting of oil producing countries and welcomes the accession of a large number of non-OPEC states to it.
